The Group, headed up by new CEO Pieter Boone, oversees a multiple-format, multi-channel operation across two divisions, the South African division, and the African division in seven countries in Southern Africa:
- The South Africa division through trading brands: Pick n Pay franchise, Pick n Pay corporate and Boxer Superstores
- The Africa division, predominantly in the SADC region through trading brands Pick n Pay franchise, Pick n Pay corporate and Boxer branded stores, and includes a 49% share in associate Zimbabwean chain, TM Supermarkets
As at the end of February 2021, the Group’s portfolio consisted of 1,994 stores across both corporate and franchise stores.
The trading brands offer products across food, non-edible groceries, clothing, health and beauty, liquor, building and hardware and general merchandise.
