Grand opening of Boxer Superstore in Mbekweni 

Residents of Mbekweni and surrounds are the first in the Drakenstein Valley to boast a brand new Boxer Superstore. The new shop has been built on the corner of Wamkelekile and Elonwabo Streets, which is also close to Newton, and will offer the best prices on foodstuffs and household goods in the area. 

At the ribbon cutting ceremony to open the store officially, are (from left) Boxer managing director Eugene Stoop, store manager Juan Miller, Drakenstein Cllr Alden Stouman and Andrew Mills, marketing director of Boxer. 

At the store opening of Boxer in Mbekweni, various local charities received a donation from the grocer. Neliswa Frans of Ncedizizwe Centre was one of the beneficiaries. With her are (from left) Juan Miller, Cllr Tembekile Mangena, and Andrew Mills.
